Eric Ellenwood
Eric EllenwoodGeneral Manager
Eric has always had a tremendous passion for fitness, nutrition and overall health coaching. He has consistently strived to learn about exercise science and nutrition to better himself personally for over twenty years.
He utilizes this knowledge, along with his numerous professional Certifications to help others. His repertoire of clients run the full spectrum from completely sedentary to elite athletes, ranging in ages from 15 to 92.
Kara Mayock
Kara MayockPersonal Trainer
Kara is originally from the Massachusetts/Connecticut area. She moved her family to Pine, Colorado in 1997.  As a professional working mom of three children living in the mountains, exercise was a key element to maintaining a healthy work/life balance. 
She immediately took advantage of mountain sports, including climbing 14ers and regularly skiing/boarding with her children.

Kara has always been an exercise enthusiast. However, after experiencing the Personal Training difference as a client of Core Progress, she decided to put her passion for exercise and nutrition to good use and received her Certification as a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in 2016.

Her philosophy on maintaining a healthy lifestyle is based on creating a realistic balance between nutrition and exercise. She knows firsthand that you can achieve results and maintain a healthy lifestyle without sacrificing all of your free time and fun.

Kelly Mcelhiney
Kelly McelhineyPersonal Trainer
Kelly is 24 years old from Bettendorf, IA. She has a strong background in athletics playing soccer, golf, basketball, snowboarding, and running cross-country and track & field since she was young.
Last May, she graduated from Iowa State University with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. With 1.5 years of experience in Division I weight rooms, completing a semester long internship at ISU, and a full year internship at CU-Boulder helping train all athletic teams, she is ready and willing to get anyone ready for the sport of living life. Upon completion of her internships she became certified through the NSCA as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.
Josh Van Tine
Josh Van TinePersonal Trainer
Josh moved to Broomfield, where he grew up, when he was nine. He went to college at the University of Northern Colorado where he wrestled while receiving a degree in Sports and Exercise Science.
During his Junior year, Josh did his internship at a physical therapy clinic which gave him valuable experience in injury prevention. After his internship, he went down the path of personal training and has observed at the CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center.

After college Josh decided to become certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in order to help others improve and achieve their goals. Even though he wrestled through college and had a strength coach, when he was done Josh struggled to work out on his own. Knowing he was not the only one, this is what ultimately finalized his decision to pursue personal training. Josh has a background in sports training and strength training for fat loss.

In his spare time, Josh likes playing volleyball and wrestling, but still enjoys watching cartoons.

Certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), my emphasis is on improving human performance with clients ranging from recreational to competitive athletes, youth to adult, fitness newcomers and long time enthusiasts.
A passion for fitness and investing in others led me to personal training and has been very rewarding. I’ve personally spent countless hours training and preparing to compete successfully in many areas such as NCAA Division 1 football (Iowa State University), numerous triathlons, cross-training and adventure competitions. I have had many people help me along my way and now I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others to help them reach their wellness, fitness and athletic goals.

My motto is, “Training for the athlete inside everyBODY!”

Oscar has a love for travel, adventure and self-development and his energetic personality shows in his approach to how he gets you results. His obsession is making sure you succeed in whatever goals you set.

He always provides fun and engaging workouts that focus on your specific needs and keep you moving forward. He also understands that reaching your goals involves much more than just an hour or two per week in the gym and that other parts of your daily life also need to change. He helps you focus on how to strategize these other areas in order for you to be successful beyond your initial goals.

Oscar gets you from overworked, overstressed and overwhelmed to become focused, fit and re-energized with an approach that suits your individual fitness level from complete beginner to seasoned gym vet. He encompasses nutrition, exercise, recovery and other strategies that get you where you want to be in the time you want to get there.
